What We Do

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a service that allows anyone with or without knowledge of honey bees to have honey bees. Hive Noon is here for the new beekeeper looking to help the environment or just a new hobby to start and maintain a new honey bee hive and those who already have honey bees but it is getting to be too much. We offer an extra hand. At the end of the day we are trying to leave a better world for tomorrow.

our services

Start and set up a new hive

For those new to beekeeping. The hobbyist, homesteader, the environment enthusiast. We are here for you. Hive Noon offers several service options. One time visit, Monthly, Annually, and a special feature learning program.

Maintain a healthy hive

Honey bees can be a lot of fun and very enjoyable. With our one time visit or monthly visit Hive Noon can make sure your bees are healthy and well from checking mites and other pests to making sure there are no diseases. We also can recommend plants that honey bees just love and keep them happy.

Treat and Prevent Pests and Diseases

Keeping up with mite control and hive beetle elimination is very important. Hive Noon monthly program would help with this. We spend the time to learn your bees and what is right for them, spending the month getting them into tip top shape especially heading into the winter months or early spring before the honey flow.

Honey Collection

Honey collection can be a lot and physically exhausting. Let Hive Noon help. We can help collect and extract honey for you. Let us get messy, while you stay clean. You get to enjoy your honey without the back breaking work.

Winterizing

Winter is a tough time for honey bees and it's better to be prepared. The weather can be unpredictable and hard on honey bees but here at Hive Noon we will do everything we can to make sure your bees survive the winter. From thermal insulation and sugar brick for extra food to dry pollen in the late fall and early spring. Prepping a bee hive for winter is very important.

our approach

Hive Noon works with clients to determine the best approach for keeping their bees.

Hands Off Approach

Hive Noon has a very unique feature. The hands off approach is where you don’t have to do anything but enjoy the view of your honey bee hive. This is great for those who just don’t have the time but want to make an impact. Hive Noon takes care of your bees. Yes, you still get your honey. We maintain your bees all year round. Treat them for pests, collect honey, wellness visits, and winterizing. You get all the rewards of having honey bees (better crop yield, honey, saving honey bees, helping the environment, etc.) This special feature allows ANYONE to become a honey bee keeper.

Learning Honey Bee Keeping

Hive Noon also offers a very hands on approach. We will take you out to your bees and teach you everything you need to know about maintaining and keeping a healthy bee hive. A little afraid? That's okay! We will make you more and more confident about having and caring for honey bees. Soon enough you will be a full blown beekeeper.
